First Floor Extension

Having lived a fulfilling life, the owner wanted to convert their heritage home into a place where they can enjoy retirement. The house has great views towards the Dandenong Ranges from the first floor, so we maximised the views by adding a retreat attached to the master bedroom. This retreat has several benefits such as creating a tranquil place where the owner can enjoy the views, providing shade to the outdoor entertainment space below, prevent direct views into the living space from the neighbouring building and the layout is set up in a way that a future can be constructed lift in case this becomes a requirement later in life.
